  • The architect Nigel Coates has combined classicism and contemporary architecture in this majestic ceiling lamp. Aurora is a luminaire that has an extraordinary elegance. Its heart made out of multiple crystals is expertly surrounded by star-shaped technopolymer rings, which cast a dance of lights and shadows on your walls.   • Artistic director at Slamp from 2008 to 2010, Nigel Coates is a passionate English architect and designer. Coates was a professor of architecture at the University of the Arts in London from 1976 and through the next ten years. Becoming known in the field from the 80s, he quickly became an influence in design and many of his works have appeared in exhibitions and museums such as the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. Coates aims to integrate art and intelligence into architecture as well as design.
